Nooooooo!!!!!!! I give in. Can’t you see me waving my white flag? Probably not since I’m still all but buried under the last round we had only two short days ago! Sigh. As I type, the wind is steadily picking up. Yep, it’s coming.
On a brighter note, at least I am prepared. On my way home from taking care of the preemie, I met up with at least 95% of the local population at the grocery store. Glancing at what other shoppers had in their carts, it looked like we all had the same idea. A storm of this magnitude calls not only for some easy to prepare items, but also some comfort foods to help ease the pain of being sick and tired of all this crazy weather!
Once home, I brought additional firewood to the garage. I think I now have enough to last until next weekend, by which time I pray warmer weather will be here and the snow will all be gone. Although earlier this week I bought more gas for the snowblower, my plan is not to need it. Yeh right. I know better than that! I have debt to pay off and can’t afford to let this white stuff keep me home from work.
If you don’t hear from me for a few days, it will be because we’ve lost power/internet. It isn’t uncommon for us during this type of weather. However, if you don’t hear from me for a few weeks, please come look for me. I’ll be the one waving my white flag…hmm… with this storm, perhaps I’d better rethink the color!

Wow, the weather has been so wild this year!!! It is gorgeous here right now but believe me, during the summer when we hit 112, I’ll be waiving MY white flag….at least you’ll be able to see it 🙂 Hope you have lots of books and projects to keep you busy!!!

I’ll post some pictures when I can. No change in the forecast. I was hoping this was a joke. Sigh, it isn’t.
