Yesterday I learned some sad news about one of my siblings. My brother who is only two years older than me has cancer, and things do not look good. At this point, I don’t know too many details but do know it is serious enough that his case was escalated to get him to an oncologist sooner than later. It is times such as these that you realize how short life can be. Tomorrow is not promised for any of us.
I was initially going to write much more on the topic, but I feel the following sums it up far better than I can. I saw this image and words on Facebook. Given how many times it has been shared, unfortunately, I do not know who deserves the credit. The words are so true. Tomorrow is not promised. Make sure you are ready.

This stopped me in my tracks!
Every minute someone leaves this world behind.
We are all in “the line” without knowing it.
We never know how many people are before us.
We can not move to the back of the line.
We can not step out of the line.
We can not avoid the line.
So while we wait in line –
Make moments count.
Make priorities.
Make the time.
Make your gifts known.
Make a nobody feel like a somebody.
Make your voice heard.
Make the small things big.
Make someone smile.
Make the change.
Make love.
Make up.
Make peace.
Make sure to tell your people they are loved.
Make sure to have no regrets.
Make sure you are ready.
So sorry to hear. I’ll say a prayer for your brother.

Thank you.
So sorry to hear about your brother. I recently saw that photo/words, too.
Thanks.
People spend their whole lives worrying about this and that and forget there is only ONE thing that we must not neglect. Jesus said this to Martha as she fretted about her many duties. Believe in the Lord Jesus. When we do, we will go to that room that is prepared for us when we depart this life. Peace to your family.
Amen, and thank you!
I am sorry to hear the news about your brother. I will keep you, your family and your brother in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you.
I am so sorry to hear that. I have a sibling that is fighting cancer as well. She has Stage 4 melanoma. Praying for you!

I am so sorry about your brother. I wish I had some wonderful words of wisdom to impart, but I’m not very good at that……He (and you) will be in my prayers!!!
Thank you.
I’m sorry to hear about your brother. I will add him and all of your family to my prayer list. I hope the doctors are able to help.
