Tentative Goals for March
I am feeling a bit in limbo right now. Our taxes have been sent off to our CPA, but I almost hate to set any financial goals until I know for certain where we stand. I honestly thought about just holding off until we knew something concrete. But as Zig Ziglar says, If you aim at nothing, you’ll hit it every time. With that quote in mind, I have decided to go ahead and make a few goals for March…
- $200 more in our emergency fund
- Earn $75 from Swagbucks
- Reduce the debt we are snowballing by at least $1,000
- Earn $25 from eBay sales
- $500 net from my part time job
- Continue using cash for day-to-day expenses
We have some additional expenses this month which we will also cash flow. DH’s life insurance premium, propane, our CPA, weather permitting a short trip and also potentially a snowplowing bill (we have yet to receive any bill so that may be quite high). With those additional expenses in mind, I feel we will be doing well with simply reaching these goals. Tax wise, I have no idea how we will do. 2016 was my first year in business and I just don’t know how that will effect us.
March is only a few days away. Have you taken the time to write out your goals? Take aim at something, otherwise you will hit nothing!
