First of all, I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter. With the Hubs away, mine was very quiet. No complaints. I prefer it that way ~ well, the quiet part that is, not the Hubs being away part!
It took me a few days after my trip to feel worth a hoot. Today I spent several hours getting a shipment ready for my business. It was items I sourced while I was away and some more from a couple of hours after taking care of the kiddo yesterday. I was glad I snagged the folding table from my dad’s condo. Having an additional surface to work with made it much easier for processing the inventory.
As for my mini update, I’m happy to report that our debt to Citi is now down to $800. I would still like to get it paid off before the end of the month. If I can’t, I for sure want it gone before the end of the billing cycle in May. I’ll have a better idea of where we stand by Thursday when I can get a preview of Hub’s check. I long for the day this debt is behind us, and we can start saving more money. Having debt is sickening! That day will come. We just need to stay the course!
I’ll bet that trip was exhausting. A nice quiet day is probably what you needed.
It was. A day of doing practically nothing was exactly what I needed.
AMEN!!!! Let’s all kick that debt to the curb once and for all!!!!
We will, Sue!
You’re so close! Thank you for continuing to share your journey. It’s really inspiring to watch someone weather the ups and downs and get closer and closer to their goal.

It has been interesting. There was a bit more drama today, but my brother is dealing with it.
I’m glad to have found another debt blog. Comforting that you’re in your 50’s. I just turned 40. Actually, eek, I’m almost 41. If you’re good with smartphones, there are good things to do on the side for money whenever you want.
Always happy to have another reader. I find that writing has helped me to stay motivated. Also reading other bloggers battling debt helps me feel not quite so alone. Debt sucks! What do you do on a smartphone to earn extra $?
