I’m not sure what I could have googled that is now giving me all sorts of ads related to liver health. Ad after ad, they are all about me having a dying or fatty liver. Good grief. Per my routine labs from my physical last month, my liver is fine. I’m curious what type of ads pop up for you?
While my labs for my liver showed no concerns, my LDL cholesterol was a smidge over the limit. My PA told me to add oatmeal to my diet, which I am doing. My blood sugar was over the range by one. Given that my father was diabetic (as was one of his sisters), today, I went and had an A1C drawn. This test provides an average blood sugar level over the past three months. I’m not wasting any time worrying about it. Best to wait and see what the results show. Stress can also elevate levels, and I’ve had plenty of additional stress dealing with my nasty SIL.
Since I was in the city, I dropped off the items I’ve gathered for my “Too Much Stuff” challenge. I had ten other things to add to my pile, bringing my total to 60. You can find my first fifty items on THIS post. Here are the ten additional items I donated:
- antique typewriter (given to me by my neighbors who moved)
- wall mirror
- long “dress” coat
- label printer
- three skirts
- henley shirt
- Fall outdoor sign
- infant life vest
- wall decor item
- large clear glass vase
I am to the point where I need to search a bit harder but know I can (and will!) come up with the last 15 items. In my challenge, I gave myself until Spring to accomplish my goal. As of today, we have 67 days until Spring.
While in the city, I also got my car washed. $14.50 to go through the car wash, but it sure needed it.
The last thing I did was stop at the grocery store for a few items. Last week I didn’t buy 7-up because it wasn’t on sale. This week they had it for $2.50 (reg $3.99) for a bottled six-pack. Good to keep on hand for an upset stomach. Except for one item (tortillas on sale), I kept to my list. My total spent on groceries was $13.15. I ended up with two five-dollar bills, one “G” dollar, and a handful of change to add to my saving challenges.

My current ads are for eyeliner and a payroll company, LOL. I get the payroll, but not the eyeliner (which I rarely wear)

Hmm, maybe google wants/thinks you should wear eyeliner. Lol My current ad is one about a dying liver and five signs it is full of toxins. Good grief. I’d prefer to see eyeliner ads than liver ads. Lol
