Ugh. Seeing our checking account with more than enough funds to pay off our car loan, well, I just had to do something! No, I didn’t pay off the car. What I did do was pay November’s mortgage payment. Tempting as paying off the car was, I also know how important it is to take care of the four walls. So, as I like to tell Hubs, we can now live here for yet another month! While it doesn’t save on interest making the payment some two weeks early, it does remove the temptation of using the money elsewhere. Not that paying off the car would have been a bad thing. But, the remote possibility of not being able to cover the mortgage with Hub’s next check certainly wouldn’t have been too smart! Now with that big payment out of the way for another month, I can again focus on getting that darn car paid off!
I am still waiting for the $3,500 to be applied to the car. I have no idea what the holdup is. According to our credit union, they should have received the money on Friday. Because I couldn’t do a mobile deposit with the check from the sale of our travel trailer, I used our account with our local credit union to make the payment. Payments have always cleared much faster with our “regular” bank. Do I sound a bit impatient? That is because I am! Lol
Tomorrow I have been asked to work an extra 2 1/2 hours. While it makes for a looong day with the baby, I won’t turn down the hours. I had initially planned on going to town after work (business related) but now will wait until Thursday to do so. As it is, I’m in the middle of some training videos related to my business, so waiting works out well anyway.
Speaking of my business, I set up a mini classroom in my living room. On Saturday I purchased the course (not an affiliate) “How to Keepa Camel” which relates to how to make better-buying decisions. The one thing I’ve learned about Amazon is that you never quit learning. The more you learn, the more you can make. Before spending the $77 on the course, I did read reviews, etc. One comment resonated with me. The person said that if you can’t afford to spend some money learning, you really can’t afford to be in business. I believe there is truth to that statement. For the record, though, I did find a coupon code which saved me $20. As for the course itself, when it comes to video learning, I like to see it on the big screen. No, we don’t have a massive TV, just a 42 inch which is plenty big for me. I also like doing it this way as I can follow along on my mac.
I am again trying to be more diligent about M-Turks. It really isn’t all that difficult or time-consuming to earn a few extra dollars every day. Those dollars do add up! A quick shout-out to One Family One Income for the reminder to keep plugging along with it! I do have to admit; she is doing way better than I am!

Is that your mini classroom in front of the fireplace? I’d love to learn and write there.
Hopefully that check will clear shortly!

Looks like a great place to learn! Cozy! I just got an email that I received a $2.50 bonus from one of my previous hits. A really nice addition to the day’s earnings 🙂

There is just something about a fire on a snowy day. I wonder if we did the same HIT. I also received a $2.50 bonus today. Cha-ching!

It is a cozy place to sit and learn. Easy to quickly disassemble, too! Hated seeing that money come out of our account, but I love seeing that we don’t need to make another payment until Dec 1.
