Goodness. I can’t believe I haven’t written in almost four months. Do I have a good excuse? Yes and no.
The biggest culprit was that my RLS (restless legs syndrome) had been pretty much unbearable. I had spent countless hours pacing the floors at night. I’ve also had numerous med changes. Since my doctor felt there was nothing more she could do for me, she sent me to a neurologist. I have now had two visits, and other than some lingering morning brain fog, I’m finally getting some decent sleep. I will have a third appointment in October.
Covid-19 ~ It is starting to feel like a nightmare that simply won’t end. Like most, I’m just trying to keep living life the best that I can.
Work. Not mine, but Hubs. Right now, there is a lot of uncertainty. His company has yet to secure a new contract, which leaves us quite uneasy. Ideally, Hubs would like to retire with this company. Fortunately, he is in an industry where if need be, he can get other work. Right now, we are just taking things month by month.
I know this post is short, but how does one summarize for almost four months? I think my next post (I promise to write much sooner) should be a review of my goals for 2020. I feel like that will be the right place to restart.
Thanks for hanging in there with me.
Lucy
